Dr Aidelbaum and Chen have current and advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial problems from the simple to the complex. He is a fellowship qualified, certified specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. This involves the expertise in: dental extractions, the removal of difficult or impacted teeth (wisdom teeth), the placement of dental implants, the management of facial injuries and infections, the treatment of dental and skeletal deformities (orthognathic surgery), the surgical management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, the treatment of cleft lip and cleft palate conditions, facial and jaw reconstruction procedures and care for other diseases (pathology) and esthetic concerns of the oral and maxillofacial region and related structures.

Pacific Coast Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery takes great pride in bringing their patients the latest in technologically advanced, comfort oriented oral and maxillofacial surgical care. Our independently inspected outpatient surgical facility is equipped with modern specialized equipment. It is staffed with a highly trained, experienced and compassionate team of caring professionals. Our surgical-anaesthetic suite is inspected and approved by the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. Patients undergoing surgical procedures in the suite are constantly monitored to ensure optimal care and safety. Any procedure that can be safely done on an outpatient basis can be safely done in our office setting, avoiding potentially inconvenient and time-consuming hospitalization.
