Dr. Dick Lee

Dr. Lee received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1981, and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of British Columbia. He was appointed to the Department of Anesthesiology at Shaughnessy Hospital and to the Faculty of Medicine at UBC, and is a member of the Department of Anesthesiology at Surrey Memorial Hospital, where he spends most of his time working when he’s not at PCOMS. In practice since 1986, Dr. Lee is highly experienced, and possesses a gentle demeanour which will put your mind at ease on your surgery day. We are proud to have Dr. Lee as an integral part of our PCOMS family.

• Wisdom Teeth

  It is strongly recommended that third molars or wisdom teeth be evaluated by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon by the time the patient is a young adult. Your surgeon can assess the presence and position of the wisdom teeth, disease status and discuss management options ranging from removal to monitoring the teeth.

• Oral Pathology

  Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons are well trained in the diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology, and are able to perform the complex bone grafting surgeries and soft tissue augmentation to reconstruct defects so that you may receive implants or dentures in the future.

• Impacted Canines

  An oral surgeon may need to remove extra teeth or growths that are impeding the eruption of adult teeth. Your surgeon will then evaluate the gum tissue around the tooth to make sure it is sufficiently strong and healthy to last for a lifetime.
